Presentation

The Breast Imaging Cycle is organized as part of the academic curriculum designed for Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging residents from Unisanitas, along with allied residency programs that collaborate with the Breast Unit of Clínica Universitaria Colombia.

The program includes participation from national and international faculty who are experts in breast radiology, contributing experience, updates, and global best practices.

Format: In-person and virtual

Objective

To provide radiology and diagnostic imaging residents with a solid and updated foundation in breast imaging, enabling them to confidently and competently address diagnostic challenges in breast pathology.

Justification

The high prevalence of breast diseases, particularly breast cancer, requires well-trained radiologists. This cycle addresses that need by providing advanced tools and a strong foundation for daily clinical practice.

Evaluation

Continuous evaluation will be applied based on: quality of presentations, participation in discussions, and potential theoretical or practical assessments.
